If I could have any job in the entire world, I would want to be an engineer. One reason I want to be an engineer is because it pays well the average pay is around 100k so I can provide for my future family and make them happy. Another reason I want to be an engineer is because I want to create and invent different things that could help the world be a better place or for people to have fun with my inventions. Another reason I want to become an engineer is so I can invent new things that no one has ever made and be known for doing something important. I also want upgrade and improve upon other engineers inventions and things that other people have made. That is why I want to be a engineer.
Abra cadabra! A magician gives me the ability to turn invisible so I start making a list of all the things I want to do. The next morning I wake up, look at my list and know exactly what I want to do I walk to a nearby donut shop turn invisible and take all the donuts I can fit in my bag then I turn visible again and walk home while eating a chocolate donut. Then after I eat all the donuts I would sneak into an amusement park and ride every single ride there. Then it becomes night so I go to Chic-fil-a and walk into the kitchen and take some spicy chicken sandwiches, fries, and a large cookies and cream milkshake then I walk home while eating my food. After I get home I decide to go to sleep and do some other things tomorrow.
I chose the quote “we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy” and I think it means that you should always try to do what’s right like helping someone instead of doing whats easy and not helping and ignoring. For example if you see someone hurt you should do what’s right and help them and instead of doing what’s easy and ignoring them. I can relate to this because I have ignored people that have needed help but just walked right past them doing what’s easy and not doing what is right and helped them. But other times I have helped people with something and done what’s right. This is how I can relate to this quote and what it means to me.
Somebody I look up to as my hero is my grandpa. I think my grandpa is my hero because he has taught me a lot of things. For example he taught me how to cook a lot of things like eggs, pizza, spaghetti and fried zucchini he also taught me how to garden and taught me about plant’s because he grows a lot of fruits and vegetables like grapes. he is also very funny and always makes me laugh. He also takes me and my brothers out to breakfast every time we spend the knight at his house. That is why my grandpa is my hero.
In 2024 I am going to focus on the word management. This year I would like to manage my time better for example. I want to spend time playing basketball for at least one hour and workout for at least thirty minutes. Then I will take my dogs out then do my homework after dinner from 6:30-7:30. This would help me get more exercise and not spend as much time playing video games or on my phone. I will also help my parents around the house with different things like the dishes and laundry. This would help me manage my time better, exercise more, have more time for homework and help around my family around the house more.
This month I read The 57 Bus by Dashka Slater this story is about two kids one named Richard and a trans person named Sasha that ride the 57 bus to school and back. But while Richard and Sasha were coming home from school Richard decides Sasha’s skirt on fire burning them severally. And the court Richard went to was arguing if he should count as a juvenile or an adult for his sentence. After Richard set Sasha on fire everyone started hating Richard even his own friends. While Sasha was in the hospital she had to undergo lots of treatment to recover her burn scars and missing skin.
I like this book because it is a true story and tells the story from two points of view. I also like how the author describes the setting of the story and how they show the character traits without telling the reader what they’re feeling during that certain time in the story. My favorite character in the story is Richard because he changes and grows a lot through the story and learns from his mistakes he is also accepting for example when he said “I am not a thug, gangster, hoodlum, nor monster. Im a young African American male who’s made a terrible mistake. Not only did I hurt you but I hurt your family & friends and also my family & friends for I have brought shame to them and our country and I shall be punished which is going to be hard for me because I’m not made to be incarcerated.” this shows he is accepting because he didn’t deny what he did and he accepted that he needs to be punished.
one of my favorite quotes is “People have different habitats,” he explained. “Some people have it better than others. They grew up in good neighborhoods. Their family has jobs. They have good income. They don’t understand. Their life is so good, they think everybody’s life is good. They don’t understand the struggles people go through. I don’t know where you grew up at, if it’s like a low-income area, where there’s lots of violence and crime. But if you grew up in a low-income area and all you see is crime and drugs? If you have family that does crime? You see it. It has an impact on you. If you’re around it a lot, it’s hard to do good.” this is my favorite quote because it shows how the author relates to a certain group of people.
After a long day of gathering food and escaping from predators the four monkeys were exhausted a tiger chased them back to their tree! But one monkey wasn’t tired he was actually excited because he found a golden banana tree while looking for food so he started dancing. But he didn’t want his monkey brothers to know about it, he wanted the bananas for himself! So when the other monkeys asked what he was dancing about he had to think about something else to say. So he said that he heard some birds chirping and was dancing to it and they believed him. Later that night he went back to the golden banana tree but all the bananas were gone! And he started hearing growling from the trees then a giant gorilla came out from the trees but he had a golden grown with a bright red ruby in the center glittering off the night sky. The gorilla explained that he was the king of a the gorillas and that tree was sacred to the gorillas. So the monkey left on his way home he heard something in the tall grass it was growling! Then a tiger pounced on him but missed. The monkey ran as fast as he could back to his tree with his monkey brothers but the tiger was gone but the monkeys heard the tigers breathing it was in the tree! As it was about to strike the gorilla came to their rescue and caught the tiger mid air and threw it back into the jungle. Then the gorilla king showed them to his kingdom it was a gold city! And it had a giant bell on top of a golden temple the gorilla king explained that it protected them from the tiger kingdom because they can’t stand loud sounds. After that the gorilla king told them to meet him in his throne room when they got their the king said he had something important to tell them. He told them that they have been appointed to be guards, but not just any guards royal guards! Their job was to protect the king from danger the monkeys accepted and got pained one hundred thousand bananas per year! they became rich and bought one of the biggest trees in the kingdom and lived protecting the king from all danger.
I am thankful for many things this year, but here are the top three things. My family, my friends, and my teachers. I am thankful for my family because they raised me and pay for everything I need and even things I don’t need so I am thankful for them. I am also thankful for my friends for making me laugh all the time and be happy and making me have a good time during hard times so I’m grateful that they are my friends. Finally I am thankful for my teachers for helping throughout the years and teaching me everything I need to know getting me to where I am now in school and in life. Without any of these people I don’t know where I’d be right now.
If a genie appeared and gave me three wishes I would wish for infinite money, to be able to stop time, and to have a pocket dimension where I could pull anything out of it and go hangout inside of it. I would want infinite money so I could buy everything possible and could fund research so they could invent new things and find cures for different disease’s. I would want to be able to stop time so I could have more time to study and I could sleep for as long as I want without my mom waking me up for school. I would want a pocket dimension so I could store all the things I need in there and I could put anything in like an amusement park. I would also use it to pull anything out of existence for example if I was hungry I could pull out a pizza or if I needed a lightsaber for some reason I could get it. I would also use it for hanging out I could bring my friends in there and relax with them. Those are the three wishes I would wish for if a genie appeared in front of me.
It would be a dream to have a perfect day and it would go like this. I would wake up in a luxurious five-star hotel on the beach. There would be donuts waiting for me and my friends on the table and there would be lots of presents. Then we would go down to the beach and go in the water. After that we would go to an arcade and play lots of games. Then after it becomes night time we would go to a theme park and we would go on all the rides and we would get lots of food and treats. After that we would go to the movie theatre and watch scary movies and eat popcorn. Then when I get home I would find one-hundred billion dollars laying on my bed I would buy an expensive beach house that me and all my friends and family could live in.
